Bullite Wheels Lifetime Guarantee
Bullite Wheels (Bullite) offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original purchaser of Bullite aluminum alloy wheels, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal and intended use for the lifetime of the product. This warranty applies to the wheel's structure and is valid for as long as the original purchaser owns the wheel.
The finish warranty for Bullite wheels, including any coatings such as paint or anodizing, is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the original retail purchase date.
Bullite wheels are guaranteed to be free from structural defects under normal use. However, this warranty does not cover damage due to incidents, including but not limited to, lost time, inconvenience, vehicle downtime, towing or transportation costs, property damage, or any consequential damage.
Warranty Claim Process: To initiate a warranty claim, the original purchaser must return the wheel for visual inspection to the retail or wholesale dealer from whom the product was originally purchased, along with a copy of the original receipt. If the dealer determines that the wheel qualifies under this warranty, the wheel will be repaired or replaced. Please note, shipping, removal, installation, or re-installation costs are not covered by the warranty.
This Warranty is Void If:
- Corrosion or damage occurs due to improper maintenance. Please refer to Bullite’s Wheel Care Instructions.
- Damage or structural failure is caused by road conditions, accidents, or misuse.
- Damage or structural failure results from racing applications or abuse.
- Damage occurs due to neglect or exposure to harsh weather conditions.
- The wheels have been modified or repaired outside of Bullite or installed on non-standard or customized vehicles.
- Damage results from improper mounting, excessive vehicle load, or incorrect tire sizing.
Bullite disclaims all other express or implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose to the extent allowed by the applicable laws of the state of sale and federal law. This warranty grants specific legal rights, and additional rights may exist under state laws. No Bullite employee or representative is authorized to modify this warranty or any disclaimers herein in any way. The warranty expires upon transfer of the title of the product to any third party. Wheels purchased as “blems” are not eligible for warranty adjustments.
Wheel Inspection and Load Ratings: All Bullite orders are accepted with the understanding that the purchaser is responsible for ensuring that all tie rods, springs, frame, fender, calipers, and brake clearance are checked before mounting the tires on the wheels. The load rating for the custom wheel should always be considered to ensure it does not exceed the wheel's recommended maximum load, even if the tire is approved for heavier loads.
Retorque Your Lug Nuts: Retorque your lug nuts after 50 miles of driving and periodically check the torque at regular intervals.
Recommended Wheel Care Instructions:
- Never wash your wheels while they are hot from driving, and do not attempt to cool hot wheels with water as this can damage the finish and may also affect other components like brake rotors.
- Clean your wheels weekly by hand using mild soap and water to remove road grime, salt, ice/snow chemicals, dirt, and brake dust.
- Automatic car washes do not remove contaminants effectively and may damage the wheel’s finish. Hand washing is recommended for better maintenance.
- In areas where road salts and chemicals are used during the winter, more frequent cleaning is essential to prevent wheel damage.
- For chrome-plated wheels, clean with mild soap and water, then dry with a soft cloth. Apply a non-abrasive cream wax or wheel sealant to help protect against surface corrosion.
Important:
All warranty returns must be accompanied by a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#). Returns will be reviewed by Bullite’s Warranty Return Center, and if the product is found not to be covered under warranty, it will be returned to the sender at their expense without repair or replacement.
